I know a lot of my fellow Tesla owners aren't happy about Tesla opening up the Supercharger networks to other car brands but it's a reality and this adapter lets cars from Rivian, the Mach-E, and other CCS vehicles charge on the Supercharger network. You have to do billing info and other stuff I'm not familiar with to access it, but the Supercharger network is a huge upgrade in charging speed. The adapter works find on my Rivian. Got a great charging speed. CCS1 charging is pretty fast but nowhere near what the Supercharger can do.
This adapter works perfectly at a fraction of the cost of the oem adapter for our vehicle. It is super solidly built, well constructed, has excellent fit and finish and functions perfectly. It charges at max capacity for our vehicle and even though we've only used it once to test it, it seems to work perfectly. It fits in the charge port without any fuss and has not shown signs of excessive heat. We charged at 20% to 80% on a trip faster than we ever have with a CCS1 charger. NACS is the future, this adapter is awesome. Highly recommended, awesome value overall.
This evconn Tesla to CCS1 Fast Charging Adapter worked out well to connect to a 250KW or 150KW charging station. It came with a really nice case! The Materials this is made out of is really sleak and kept the heat down! It had nice solid catches for locking onto and releasing from the connections. I didn’t experience any huge delays charging with a Cadillac Lyriq using this adapter at the Tesla charging station.

I have a GM EV that now has supercharger access. Instead of ordering the adapter from them and waiting in a queue I thought I'd try this one for less. It worked perfectly the first time. I pulled up to the supercharger, started the session from the Tesla app, and then plugged into this adapter, then into my car. It figured everything out and started charging just fine.

This worked perfectly and was able to get fast charging out of a charger they had at the mall. The build quality is pretty good and it has a good heft to it. Don't know how much longer these will be needed with NACS but for now, it's really useful.
This is cheaper than the OEM ccs to Tesla charging adapter and it works just fine. I tested it out once at an IVY CCS charging station and I had no issues with it working. CCS charging ports are very bulky and it's a doctor is bulky as well but I just keep it in my sub trunk so it's handy whenever I need it.
Some of these have a little safety pin thing in the back that is easy to break, while some do not. This one does not. In my experience, that makes zero difference. I test these all in the exact same way. I grab one of the Teslas on my farm, see if it's working today, and then drive it out to the nearest Electrify America. Then I charge up while I play around in the store that sells wall stuff. Stick this on the charger, and then the whole thing into the car. I've never had a problem with any of these doing it in that order, but some of them seem to fail if you put it in the car first. Don't ask me why, but that's just what I've seen. I hooked this up to a 350kW charger (they only have 150 and 350kW chargers there), and went into the store. I actually needed a few things, so I shopped around for a bit. I can buy a month's worth of groceries in less than 15 minutes, because I shop like a guy. In other words, I go in, grab what I need, and then I'm done. My cousin (who actually owns the car) managed to extend the shopping trip out to about a half an hour by being slow. The car was fully charged when we went back to it. According to her, it actually charged her battery faster than a 250kW supercharger, which makes no sense. Well, unless the superchargers are built as well as the cars. Then it makes sense. According to her, the 250kW supercharger doesn't charge anywhere near 250kW, even though it's supposed to. So, it worked. It fit on just fine and came off just fine. Nobody has had any problems with it, so everything is good thus far.
Among our immediate family, we have 5 Teslas. And we have around 15 EVs within our extended family circle that often gathers for hangouts.As a result, I've had the chance to experience a variety of EV-related adapters over the time ¨C you name it, I've tried it, haha. Interestingly, these CCS to Tesla adapters all seem to share a strikingly similar design and material quality, regardless of the brand. There might be about 3 or at most 4 different designs (including color variation) for this type of adapter, and most give off the impression that they rolled off the same factory assembly line, just with different brand labels attached. With this in mind, I had a fairly good idea of what to anticipate from this particular adapter, as it appeared virtually identical to the one I've been using. If you're a Tesla owner who doesn't have this kind of adapter, you're definitely missing out. This adapter unlocks the potential for Tesla vehicles to tap into a wider network of charging infrastructure by bridging the gap between CCS charging stations and Tesla's proprietary charging system. This becomes especially valuable for long-distance travel plans. As was expected from my experience with other similar adapters, this well-made adapter has provided an efficient Level 3 charging experience thus far. However, as is often the case with automotive accessories, the real test lies in its longevity. Should this adapter unexpectedly fail me, I'll certainly provide an update. But for the time being, I'm optimistic about its durability. Lastly, as I noted earlier, these adapters all seem to offer comparable quality, with only a few exceptions among the premium and more budget-friendly options. Therefore, I recommend comparing prices when you're shopping, as there tend to be frequent deals or coupons available on Amazon.

With so many power stations available these days, you¡¯ll definitely want to have one of these onboard your electric vehicle at all times. Works great as an emergency backup and or regularly as the need requires. Build quality is perfectly fine given it¡¯s an aftermarket unit. It¡¯s built with parts and in such a form where you wouldn¡¯t think twice whether it was an OEM unit or not. Looks the part and works the part. It works.
This adapter does exactly what you need. It has been able to withstand some rain/water on it, and have no issues. It works with very high voltage of up to 220kw and 400A, and charges really quickly. I feel safe using this adapter, as it protects against short circuit, over current and overheating. It is also nice that it comes with after-sales service to give me peace of mind if there are any issues. Very happy with this!
After reading so many reviews, I chose this one. I read how a lot of those adapters do not disengage from the Tesla charging after charging what I figure out I tried it before I initiate the charge and eat hooked and unhooked easy for both the car and the Tesla charger after five minutes or five charging stop the charge because I only wanted to try it and it released from the car and it was hard to release it from the charger and I¡¯m sure I found the reason the charger the system gets hot it expense and then it would not release unless You use force next time I¡¯ll try to let it cool a little bit and then pull it apart. It is a very good charger. It will compete in quality with any of them. I highly recommend it.
After the brand name charger we bought kept disengaging after a few kWh I bought a couple off brand chargers and tested them out. This one is the only of the 3 that has worked for 2 successive chargers without an error or a rapid drop to single kw charging. Keeping this one and happy to be able to use a few of the Tesla chargers. Worth noting that while this (and the others) are rated at 250 kw the Tesla supercharger by us only gave e us 96 kw on all adapters.
For several months now, I've been charging my Ford Mustang Mach-E at Tesla Superchargers. It's a great option even if I *do* get tired of explaining why I'm able to do this. No, it's not magic. Here's the deal: Earlier this year, Ford announced that it would be moving to the NACS (eg: Tesla) interface from CCS1. That means that Ford owners can now use the Tesla Supercharger network. Or they *will* be able to once the proper plug begins to be integrated into new cars. So what if?you have a Ford EV with a CCS1 plug? Simple--get this adapter and you're all set. There are *some* limitations--they have to be the newer 250 kw Tesla Superchargers but the older chargers (limited to 150 kw) don't show up as part of the 'BlueOval' charge network. For those of you scoring at home, this means the V3 and V4 superchargers. In addition to Ford, the adapter currently supports Rivian and GM but there's plenty of others 'waiting in the wings'. According to the Tesla website, the 'coming soon' list includes Nissan, Volvo and Mercedes-Benz with more expected to follow suit. The idea is to standardize the charging interface (a good idea) and the more companies that sign on to this concept the better. At any rate, it works great with my car. Assuming you have a supported vehicle this accessory is a must have. Highly recommended!
