This charger hooked right up to my Tesla. It comes with a nice storage case to keep in the car also for when you need to charge it. But there were multiple times it quit charging during the night. About every two hours during the night I kept on getting messages from my tesla that it kept on saying charging equipment not ready. I can only give it 4 stars because it will charge but it stops when charging several times during the charge process.

  2. This is a good, less expensive Tesla L2 charger. It is well made and the instructions were reasonably clear for any adjustments you may make to the unit. The LED display provided the minimal information that is needed. The cord is thicker than Tesla's mobile charger, and it is also shorter. This one is 16' vs OEM of 20'. Although there is a dot on the charge handle like Tesla's, it did not do anything for me. It did not open the charge port. I just pulled the handle out after charging, which I thought was a bit odd. I thought it would need a release of some sort. I charged my Tesla Model Y and it drew current at the full 32A with it's NEMA 14-50 plug. Since you can select 8, 16, 24 or 32A charge rate, you can plug an adapter on to the supplied plug, but only if you change the charge rate on the unit to coincide with the outlet source. For example, if you want to plug it into a NEMA 14-30 outlet, with an adapter, (typical for a dryer), then you need to select 24A, since the unit will try to draw at 32A which is above that outlets rated capacity. I dinged it a star because the cable coming out of the unit can rotate some with the box itself. My concern there is that it should be fixed so there is not pressure on the connections inside. I don't think it is supposed to do that, and there is no mention that it should either.

This cord is lightweight but does the job required. Plug it in and off it goes. I cannot yet comment on longevity or anything like that, but for the immediate use, I like it. 5 stars.

This charger is capable to charge tesla model 3. Power cord is a bit shorter than average charger.

  5. verified owner

The charger is doing it's job without issue. What more can you ask for?

I like 32A because you can find plenty of destinations with 32A charging but much less going higher. 16A is too low especially on a road trip where you often want to get to 100% overnight. Unless you drive a very small EV 16A may not get you there. In any case, a solid EV charger. Pretty good material. Solid connection to your vehicle either directly or with an adapter. Doesn't get too hot.

such a great charger, gets the car charging right away. easy to connect as well and the extension cord is amazing super long no need to add other cord to it to make it go longer... the battery of this is amazing. love that it also comes with its own packaging and easy to store it away.

Level 2 NACS Mobile Charger This is an effective replacement for the official Tesla mobile charger that I could foresee someone leaving semi-permanently hooked into their wall at home. While there are some downsides to the official charger, it has redeeming qualities that make it worth owning. First off, the head is a standard NACS head that is quickly gaining adoption. It is able to charge Teslas as well as other vehicles that can support it. Like the official charger, there is a button that can be used to wirelessly open the charging port. This button also can be used to wirelessly disable charging on a Tesla. I can confirm it works well on my Model 3, in exactly the same way as how the official charger is used. On the unit's screen max current can be adjusted with the buttons on the unit. This is a handy feature that can be used in conjunction with the car's self-limiter as an additional precaution. The cable is thick and robust and gives me confidence when handling it. Speaking of confidence, Asikooc stands behind their product. They offer a 2-year warranty, which is 1 year longer than the official charger! However, there are some downsides with the Asikooc version. The first is my main reason why I would not bring it with me on the road. It has a NEMA 14-50 head permanently installed, with no adapter included to more common head plugs. The cable is only 16.4 feet and is shorter than I would like. It requires different routing in my garage which is a bit of a hassle. This is compounded by the fact that it has no wall mounting hardware included. If you can overlook these specific issues, I would highly recommend this particular charger.

Versatile Compatibility: The NEMA 14-50 plug allows connection to various 240V outlets, increasing usability. Tailored for Tesla: Optimized to work seamlessly with Tesla vehicles for efficient charging. Portable Design: Compact and lightweight, making it convenient for travel and use in different locations. Extended Reach: The 16.4ft extension cord offers more flexibility in choosing charging locations. Safety Features: Certified to safety standards with over-current, over-voltage, under-voltage, and ground fault protection. Warranty: Backed by a 24-month warranty for peace of mind. Professional Installation Recommended: While advertised as portable, some users might require professional installation for optimal performance and safety. Cost: The price point might be higher compared to some Level 1 chargers. Overall: The Aiskooc 32Amp Level 2 EV Charger appears to be a powerful and convenient option for Tesla owners seeking fast and flexible charging solutions. The high amperage, wide compatibility, and safety features make it a promising choice. However, the lack of extensive user reviews and potential installation needs should be considered.

This level 2 EV charger is a solid, well-made option with impressive performance and convenient features for any EV owner. It¡¯s straightforward to install, takes up minimal space, and comes with a 16.4ft extension cord, though some may prefer a longer cable. The charger¡¯s design is simple yet effective, and while it lacks a premium look, it¡¯s built with durable materials that should hold up over time. It also features a useful IP65 rating, making it water-resistant and suitable?for outdoor use. Performance-wise, it offers a maximum of 32A, delivering a fast and reliable charge. Some comparable chargers may offer higher amperage, but the 32A output is more than sufficient for most needs without adding extra cost. The ease of switching between different charge levels is much appreciated, and while it doesn¡¯t come with wall mounts, it's portable and includes a carrying bag, which is a nice touch¡ªthough the bag feels somewhat low in quality. One standout feature is its compatibility with mobile apps, eliminating the need for a physical display screen. This adds to the charger¡¯s affordability while still allowing users to monitor and control the charging process through their phones. Overall, this charger offers a blend of convenience, solid performance, and portability, making it a reliable choice for those seeking an affordable yet efficient charging solution.

This evse has worked great as a portable charger for me thr past few months. The shorter cord makes it very easy to store and keeps it compact. The led screen is bright and legible, with a super easy to use interface. For me, this is a set it and forget it charger that seamlessly charges at 32a speed, is well made, and a great value for the money. It doesn't need any fancy app control or crazy design elements. It doesn't overheat, seems durable and just works without issue. I for sure would recommend

I didn't think much of this charger when I first looked at it but as it turns out it's very solid. Sure, it's not 'cutting edge' or anything but it does the job. It has a NEMA 14-50 plug and charges quickly. It has all of the built in protections that you expect from any legitimate charger including overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, etc. The 16.4 foot extension cord is a little on the short side but it can still handle most use cases. I guess if you need a longer cord buy?an extension. I've never been a fan of charging in the rain but should that become necessary the charger has an IP65 waterproof rating. The interface is simple but effective, with a LCD screen serving up info and buttons to adjust settings. This charger is likely better suited for life as a portable 'emergency' charger though for less robust needs you can use it as a primary charger. Not bad at all for the price point. Recommended!

This does well with my daughter's Model 3 because it doesn't have that big of a battery and thus Level 2 is plenty sufficient to get her charged up in 4-6 hours in most cases, even from below half charge. I think it's a bit big to just throw it in the car as a "portable" but if I was going on vacation and wanted to charge up from a friend's clothes dryer socket or something, then it's sorta "portable" and would work for that too.

With the new cars, Tesla has stopped providing the portable chargers. If you want to buy one from them, it costs 250 bucks. So I looked for other options. This one looked great and I thought I will give it a shot. The set is nice and not extremely heavy. It comes with a nice bag and works seemlessly with any Tesla. The magnetic control to open the Tesla charging lid works without any issues. The speed is also good on 220V.

This is a L2 EV charger with good current capacity for faster charging. What I like about it: 1. Wide application - This charger is compatible with a wide range of power outlets. It ensures easy installation and compatibility with different electrical systems. 2. Efficient charging - this charger is optimized to ensure the best charging performance for many Tesla vehicle models. 3. Far reaching - The charger comes with a 16ft extension cord, offering flexibility and convenience?in reaching power outlets. Good fast charger.

This model have a PC screen on the front face and is more affordable subsequently, but it has a refined application for your phone that makes a front board screen pointless and the hold reserves go into your pocket. This is expected for planning. It has an opening in the back for that, so the wire can come clearly into it without arising into the room using any and all means. They give a fitting to put in that opening in case you're not using that opening. I was flabbergasted that it went with the opening at the base and I'm blissful it did. Fixing the nut ostensibly of that initial presses down on the three quarter inch outside broadness eight measure wire.

  19. verified owner

Plugged it in and it works great, much faster charge then the last one I had

  20. verified owner

Say what? Okay, so I rushed this one just a tad to squeeze it in, but it was right at 34 miles on an hour of charge.

  21. verified owner

Nothing to complain about with this charger. It is very well made, installation is straightforward and it does exactly what it is supposed to do. It also looks good while taking up very little space and the cords are pretty long.

  22. Dependable charger and the construction is very durable but you have to pay attention to the housing. Heat protection and very easy to install. Easy to set up and has a carry bag that makes it easy to put away until the next charge. Great for the price.

  23. I recently ordered the Aiskooc 32A EV charger for my Tesla home charging setup and have been quite pleased with its performance. While it may not boast all the bells and whistles of more expensive models, it excels in the areas that matter most: power, dependability, and ease of use. One of the charger¡¯s standout features is its portability. The included extension cord offers flexibility in placement, allowing me to charge my Tesla in various locations around town or at home. Although some users might prefer a longer cable, the 16.5ft extension cord has been adequate for my needs. The charger¡¯s build quality is robust, and it operates quietly. I've encountered no issues with overheating or other performance problems. It does get a little warm drawing the high amps but no issues yet. Its IP65 rating ensures it can withstand outdoor elements, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor charging. While the Aiskooc charger may not have the same premium aesthetic as some other options, its functional design and straightforward operation make it a practical choice. The ability to monitor and control the charging process through a mobile app adds to its overall appeal but I end up using my EV app for my car anyway. In terms of charging speed, the 32A output is comparable to the Tesla UMC. While it may not offer the same maximum amperage as the Tesla Wall Connector, it provides a swift and efficient charge for most daily commutes. Overall, I¡¯m satisfied with the Aiskooc 32A EV charger. It¡¯s a reliable and cost-effective option that delivers on its promise of providing a convenient and efficient charging solution for Tesla owners. Just be sure the 16.5 foot cable length is ok for your needs.

  24. This is a great 32A charger for Tesla that uses the NEMA 14-50 plug. It's very portable but the cable isn't very long. Unlike the Tesla OEM mobile connector, this one doesn't allow you to swap plugs to use it for 120V. The charging station is kinda plain, it doesn't really offer a lot of features but it is absolutely functional. The thing about this charging station is that the wires are thicker than Tesla's UMC, but I don't think it matters because that one never has any problems, perhaps this one is just a bit overengineered, which may actually be a good thing. Just to be clear, this charger is capable of 32A output, and the regular UMC from Tesla also can only output 32A, so this is similar. The Tesla wall connector which is for home can output up to 48A and older ones even higher with dual chargers. So it's comparable.

  25. This portable EV charger is similar to the Tesla Mobile Charger. It supports Level 2 charging with up to 32Amp. The NEMA 14-50 Plug on one end and Tesla NACS connector on the other end. There's a small digital screen to show the charging information. The package came with a carrying case. The charging cord is a little short for me. This charger extension cord is about 16 ft while others are offered 25 feet.
