I must have missed it but I had to purchased a Hansshow J1772 adapter (42.99) more so as to fit my 2021 TESLA3.My old Tesla cable want bad due to a slight kink (after 3 years use. The new cable looks as good as my original and works great.
The adaptor seems very well made. My Tesla changing cable 14-50 plug fits securely into the adaptor and the adaptor plugs securely into the 14-30 receptacle in my garage. I am able to charge my Tesla at 24 amps. I've checked various locations on the adaptor during charging and noted no significant temperature increase. What more can I say, it works well and I am really pleased.
This dog bone adapter was perfect for my generator when connecting it to the house. We lost power for about 12 hours in mid January 2024 during a massive winter snowstorm. I decided it was time to upgrade my adapters and cables. I am very happy with this purchase. it should last many years
I use this adapter for charging my EV using a dryer receptacle. The adapter is very sturdy, and both the plug and receptacle hold securely. The cord portion is extremely thick and stiff and seems well made. Note: when using this, make sure the current draw is no more than 24 amps! Depending on your setup, the charging load may believe it is on a 50 amp circuit, which at best would trip your breaker.
Overall a great charger overall, i have tested quite a few and have found that this is one the better units. What sets it apart from the other units is that you have the ability to monitor the unit while charging. In the EV world that is a major win. So overall a great charging unit and easy to set up. Great buy
