I am really impressed with this charger's performance. I was looking for a portable, versatile charger for my EV, and this one turned out to be a fantastic option. I have been using this charger on a 15 amp circuit, and while the charge power is slower than a dedicated charger, it’s still very practical. I average ~1.2 kW of charge power. It is a great solution if you need to top off your car overnight or if you’re traveling and need to charge at a regular outlet. Pros - Offers NEMA 6-20 and NEMA 5-15 plugs, allowing you to use it with either a 15 amp outlet or a 6-20 outlet for faster charging when available. - 25ft extension cord. - Weather resistant, so it can be used outdoors. - Compatible with all J1772 electric vehicles. - Has overload protection and fault monitoring. Cons - None to mention. Conclusion This has been a great addition to my life as an EV owner. The charger is versatile and very portable. If you need something that gets the job done without the complexity or cost of a dedicated charging station, then this is a great option.
Charger appears well made with good quality materials. The box feels a little light to be compared with other similar chargers, but that doesn't necessarily affect charging capabilities. 25 foot length cord is ample room for charging on either side of a garage. This is listed as L2 charger but is really L1/L2. L2 can only be obtained with a 240V outlet. If you use the 120v outlet, you will get L1 levels. It comes with the 240v plug and includes a 120v socket adapter.

This charger works great. We already have a level 2 stationary charger at home but this charger was really nice to have in the car as a secondary charger for emergencies / when on trips. This electric vehicle charger is great to have at home to charge your car and it is portable so you can take it with you and charge pretty much anywhere. I love that it has a normal household plug on the end and I don't need to install a special plug to be able to charge at home. This plug also makes it convenient if you travel as you can take it with you and charge on the go. The charger has a built in overload protection box that protects your car if the current surges which?is absolutely a must have to protect your batteries. I have a 240V outlet setup at home for Level 2 charging but our EV has been a problem at the cottage since there aren¡¯t many charging stations around. Since we haven¡¯t set up L2 charging there, I like that this works very well as a portable unit. We¡¯ve been bringing it up to the cottage and I¡¯m able to hook it up to our regular 120V outlet. It¡¯s not as fast but since we generally don¡¯t use the car when we¡¯re there the level 1 charging has been working out well. The long cord is?great so I don¡¯t have to pull the car up right next to the house where the outlet is. It¡¯s also very robust and thick and seems very durable. Some very good safety features like overload protection, overvoltage protection, and short circuit protection. Overall, very well designed, good quality, plus compact and lightweight making it a great portable option for travel.

This is more of a convenience situation, say you¡¯re on a trip and there¡¯s no fast charge stations, or super chargers on your route, with this you need only a 120 volt outlet to plug into. Keeping in mind that this is a slow charge, it would take a few hours to get a full charge on the vehicle. But, with the fact that this enables you to charge literally anywhere that you can find power, it makes it a valuable addition. I now have a spare that is kept with our vehicle, and one in the garage just in case. For that convenience factor, it makes this worth it.
